Restoring and maintaining the Lae National Botanic Gardens is a huge job. The core team of staff and garden workers could always use a helping hand. Volunteers with the gardens have helped them achieve some great milestones and as such, the Forest Research Institute welcomes those who are interested in participating through the gardens volunteer program.
Key areas that we are looking for volunteers in include;
- Business & strategic assistance
- Hands on Gardening assistance
- Communications & website management
- Administrative & event support
